Nommmmmmm new threads

Today I rediscovered a little grotto of a place which is just up the road from me and found loads of lovely colours and EVERYTHING was gorgeous and I could've spent all afternoon in there. I didn't though, but I did purchase these loverlieeees....

Introducing.....Barbara!

So I've been continuing to finish projects. I started Barbara a while before Christmas and now she has accessories and legs!


She's a 70s chick who's settled down a bit more these days but still likes to rock out every now and again.

Another thing I likes....

Is making soft toys. Not really suitable for playing with, more for decoration. This is one I'm making at the moment. His name is Bob and he's an electrician's apprentice. He LOVES reading though too and is generally quite a happy fellow.

He likes to lounge a bit too much though so I'm making him a tool belt to keep round his middle as a reminder of what he SHOULD be doing.

Ahahahaha 4 years later . . . .

Sooooooo, it's now 2011 and I'm making another attempt at FINISHING stuff. I am far too fickle with my crafting whims. That being said, I am experiencing a resurgence of love for crochet and am making lots of stuff. not sure what I'll do with it yet I WILL do something and bloody finish it!
